アメリカの人種問題 The American problems with race

The Trayvon Martin case, where Trayvon Martin, a young Black man, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a self appointed neighborhood guard, has been reported in Japan.

Many White Americans thought that with the election of President Obama, America had passed beyond it's racial problems.

Except for a few areas in major cities, racial prejudice is still very strong in the United States.

I would like to show a couple of videos.

In this one, a White Milwaukee man shoots and kills his 13 year old Black neighbor.  He said the young man was a trouble maker.

In this video, a Black man enters a house of a white woman he did not know, and viciously attacks her.

There really seems to be no solution to the endless racial hatred in America.  I would like to say the US government should improve schools in Black neighborhoods.  They are simply awful.

Well, White schools in America are bad, the entire pre University education system in the US is in a shameful state.

But the schools in Black neighborhoods are especially bad.

However, the American Republican Party is again threatening to shut down the US government if President Obama does not give his health care plan.

So I really doubt that it would be possible to improve schools for Black people.

You should watch Fox News. There is more to the Martin-zimmerman case according to the Fox commentators. I can not say I agree nor disagree.

Fox News. The same people who, after the Japanese disaster of 3/11, reported that Shibuya Eggplant in Shibuya was a nuclear power plant.

Thank you, but I read the Huffington Post.
