ボストンテロ事件と集団防衛 The Boston terror bombing, and collective defense

On April 15th, two bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing 4 people and injuring around 140.

４月１５日に、アメリカのボストンマラソンで二つの爆弾が爆発して、４人が殺され、１４０人以上が怪我に成りました。

Again, America is a center of violence.  But why did this happen?

また、アメリカで暴力の事件が有りました。しかし、どうしてこの事件が起こりましたか？

So far, there are two suspects.  They have been identified as two brothers born in Chechnya, in the Caucasus region.

現在、容疑者は２人です。コーカサス地域のチェチェンで生まれた兄弟です。

Boston police commissioner Ed Davis says he believes that they came to America to kill people.

ボストン警察の本部長の意見で、彼達がアメリカへ来た理由は、人を殺す為です。

But in an interview with an uncle, he said that the boys had been in America for 10 years.

しかし、容疑者達の叔父のインタビューで、彼らはアメリカに１０年間滞在していたと分かりました。

Well then, it certainly took them a long time to start killing people.  In the uncle's interview above, he also provides a clue why the boys made the bombs, a feeling that they must protect Islamic people and the Islamic religion.

その事が本当で、人を殺す目的でアメリカへ来たら、時間がかかりましたね。しかし、上記の叔父のインタビューで、何故この容疑者達が爆弾を作って、この事件を行なったかのヒントが有ります。

Well, they certainly did not have professional training.  The bombs they made were very crude homemade devices.  And they were easily caught by surveillance cameras in the area where they placed the bombs.

まず、プロ的なテロ組織の訓練はなかったでしょう。作った爆弾はおおざっぱな手作り物でした。それと、爆弾を置いた所で、容疑者達は簡単に監視カメラで発見されました。

I don't think that this is a professional terrorist operation.  No such group has claimed credit for this, it was really two boys in America who created the bombs.  So why did they do this?

プロのテロ組織の作戦ではないでしょう。ただこの２人の作戦だったでしょう。どんなテロ組織でも自分達の功績だと主張していません。この２人のアメリカで容疑者でした。どうしてこのひどい事件をしましたか？

Many Japanese people think of America as a land of freedom, where anyone can immigrate and find acceptance.  This is completely untrue.  There are many deep prejudices in America.

数多くの日本人の考えで、アメリカと言う国は自由な国で、誰でも入国して、アメリカ人から新アメリカ人として認められます。完璧に違います。アメリカでは、深い差別の気持ちをもっている人が非常に多いです。

The first thing that struck me about the boys was their names, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsnarnaev.  In America with such ethnic names like that, he will have a very hard time.  No American will make friends with you, they will constantly make jokes about your name.

まず、この二人の容疑者について、名前を考えました。ジョハルとタメルラン・ツァルナエフです。アメリカでは、そう言うなエスニックの名前が有ると、生活がとても難しいです。アメリカ人は相手にしなくて、友達に成りません。永遠に名前の事について冗談と虐めをします。

I know.  When I lived in America, I would occasionally be insulted about my family name, Von Schuler.  Many times, people would call me a nazi.

私はこれをよく分かります。アメリカに住んでいた時代、自分の名字の事で侮辱されました。もう何回も、アメリカ人が私をドイツのナチスと呼びました。

The thing is, if your name is not something like Bob Smith, Americans will not accept you.

と言う事は、ボブ・スミスみたいな単純な英語の名前がないと、アメリカ人は認めません。

It has always been difficult for Muslim people to live in America.  Since they are not Christian, Americans will not accept them as true Americans.  Also, since the 9/11 attacks, all Muslims are regarded as the enemy.

アメリカ建国時代から、イスラム信者はアメリカで生活しにくいです。キリスト教信者ではないですから、アメリカ人からイスラム信者を本当のアメリカ人として認められません。９／１１のテロ事件から、アメリカ国内イスラム信者は全員敵として見られています。

Well, even today most Americans don't trust Japanese because of Pearl Harbor either.

まあ、現在でも、真珠湾攻撃で、ほとんどのアメリカ人は日本人を信用していません。

And since 9/11 America has behaved terribly in the Muslim world.

There have been many killings of civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq.

これは、アフガンでのアメリカ海兵隊部隊の写真です。ナチスの旗を表示しています。

What the display of this flag means is that every non White, non Christian person is an enemy of America.  Yes, there are Nazi's in America, and they are just as bad as what happened in Germany.  And many of them are in the US military.

このナチスの旗の表示の意味は、白人ではない、キリスト教ではない人達は、すべてアメリカの敵です。そう、アメリカでナチスがいます。昔のドイツと同じ様な怖い人達です。アメリカ軍にナチスが数多くいます。

And in particular, the American use of drones in the Muslim world has killed many people.  Every Tuesday President Obama holds a meeting deciding who to kill that week.

特に、イスラム教の国々に無人飛行機で数多くの人を殺しています。毎週火曜日にオバマ大統領は会議して、その会議でその週で誰を殺すと決めます。

Since 9/11, The President of the United States has the right to order the killing of any person he decides is a terrorist.

９／１１から、アメリカ大統領が自分でテロリストと決めた人を殺す権利が出来ました。

Yet look at the graphic in the link below.  In Pakistan alone, America has killed 3115 people by drone strike since 2004.

しかし、下記のリンクのグラフを見て下さい。パキスタンだけで、２００４年から無人飛行機で３１１５人を殺しました。

Of these, 47 were people that America wanted to kill.  "High Profile" in the link below.  But America also killed 175 children, 535 civilians, and 2358 "other" people in Pakistan in the same period.

その数の中で、４７人はアメリカが殺す目的の人でした。下記のリンクで、"High Profile"と書いています。しかし、その無人飛行機の攻撃で、子供１７５人、普通市民５３５人と、”その他”と言う２３５８人を殺しました。

And how does the US explain this?  It simply says that if you stand near a terrorist, you are a terrorist.  What this means is, to Americans, Pakistani children are terrorists and should be killed.

There has been no more than a few Americans protesting the drone attacks.  Most Americans just don't care.

この無人飛行機の攻撃を抗議しているアメリカ人は、本当に数少ないです。ほとんどのアメリカ人は興味が有りません。

The fact is, Americans, including the Intelligence agencies, have little understanding of the Muslim world.  I really don't think they have any idea if most of the people they kill are truly terrorists trying to attack America or not. 

真実は、アメリカ人、情報部局も含めて、イスラム世界をあまり理解していません。私の意見で、アメリカが殺す人が本当にアメリカに攻撃する積もり有るかどうか、アメリカ人は分かっていません。

So we have two Muslim boys in America, who actually came to America for freedom.  Their family moved to Russia to escape the war in Chechnya, and then to the United States.

それで、この二人のイスラム信者が、実に、自由の為にアメリカへ来ました。チェチェン戦争を逃げるために、最初にロシア、それでアメリカへ行きました。

 Reading the interview with the uncle, I can tell that he has come to terms with the difficulties of living in America.  It seems that he tried to convince the boys to accept America, and not to worry about Islam.

その叔父のインタビューを読むと、彼はアメリカ生活の難しい所を受け入れました。その容疑者達にイスラム教を心配しないで、アメリカを理解してと言う話をしました。

But they found life in America harsh and difficult.  Perhaps they decided to attack Americans in revenge for American behavior in the Middle East.  This does not in any way provide a reason for making bombs and killing people.  But perhaps we can understand why this happened.  Of course most immigrants to America endure and adapt to life there. 

でも、容疑者達はアメリカの生活が厳しく、難しかった。もしかしたら、アメリカの中近東への態度、活動の復讐で、国内でアメリカ人に攻撃すると決めました。これが爆弾を作って、人を殺す理由に成りません。しかし、どうしてこの事件が起こったと分かるかも知れません。勿論、大多数のアメリカ移民がアメリカの難しい所を耐えて、アメリカ生活に合わせます。

But the fact is, I am very surprised that there have not been more such sympathy terror attacks inside America.  American behavior in The Middle East has been that terrible.

真実は、私はもっと数多くの”同情テロ事件”がアメリカで起こっていないと驚いています。中近東で、アメリカの態度と活動がとても恐ろしいです。

America started a series of wars in The Middle East as revenge for 9/11, and to control the world's oil supply.  America has failed miserably in all respects.  They have been ejected from Iraq, are failing in Afghanistan.

９／１１事件の復讐、それと世界石油を支配する為に、アメリカが中近東でいくつかの戦争を始めました。すべての戦争が完璧に失敗です。アメリカはイラクから追い出されました。アフガンがだんだんひどくに成っています。

Yet what America means by common defense is send Japanese and Korean troops to the Middle East to fight for American goals.  Those goals are not Japanese goals.

アメリカに対して、集団防衛の意味は、自衛隊（日本兵）、韓国兵を中近東へ派遣して、アメリカの国益の為に戦う事です。これは、日本の国益では有りません。

If we do America's bidding, we can expect such homegrown terror attacks like in Boston in Japan.

アメリカの命令を従って、自衛隊（日本兵）をアメリカの為に中近東へ派遣すると、ボストン事件みたいな日本国内でテロ事件が増えるでしょう。

We should stay away from such American plans, and pursue Japanese policy.

そう言うアメリカの計画を従わないで、日本の為の政策を行なった方が良いです。
