今年の秋にアメリカの経済危機が来ますか？ Will there be a financial crisis this fall?

I regularly read James Kunstler.  He is an economist in upstate New York.  As far as economics goes, he is a realist.  He does not engage in games of "pretend" that seems to guide so much of American policy these days.

This is the scary bit of news.  For years, American banks and financial houses have been pretending that a US economy still exists.  However in their quest for excessive profit, they conducted a lot of "money games" which were actually intentional fraud.

Of course they have the money to bomb Syria.  I really think America has it's priorities very wrong.  Or will they bill Japan?

And so many American officials are coming to Tokyo to tell Japan "Hurray up and join TPP!".  I think they are  in desperate panic, Japan has some of the last real cash reserves in the world.

それと、数多くのアメリカの政治家と官僚は日本に来て、日本が早くTPPに参加する様に願っています。私の気持ちで、そのアメリカ人達は必死なパニック中です。日本は世界で最後の現実な現金準備が有ります。

And that is the true meaning of TPP, sucking cash out of Japan to fuel America's wasteful lifestyle just a little longer.

それは、TPPの本当の意味です。アメリカ人の浪費的な生活をもうちょっと延ばす為に日本から現金を奪う事です。

But one thing is certain, sooner or later, the world economy will return to reality, and that will be painful.

しかし、一つの事は確かです、それは近いうちに世界の経済が真実に戻ります。その行為が苦しいでしょう。

The only question is, will America collapse before they can destroy Japan's economy, or not?

私の質問は、アメリカの崩壊の前に、日本経済を潰すかどうか？

We have to learn to live with what we have, not with a pretend economy.

About 10 days ago , I appeared on the show, "Takajin no sokomade iuteiinkai".  You can find it on youtube, but since I was on the show, out of courtesy, I cannot post a youtube link on my blog.

１０日位前、読売テレビの”たかじんのそこまで言って委員会”に出演しました。ユーチューブに有るけれど、出演者ですから、私は自分のブログにリンクを出来ません。

Basically it was a comment on The Tokyo War Crimes trails.  The panel voted on various issues.

基本的に、東京裁判についての話でした。パネル（出演者）は色々な問題について投票しました。

My vote on the Tokyo War Crime trials was, all defendants innocent.  Why?  The trials were conducted in a spirit of revenge.  The Pacific war was a very racial war, and America and Britain wanted to punish Japan.

私は東京裁判について、被告全員は無罪と投票しました。何故か、その東京裁判は復讐の為に行いました。太平洋戦争は民族的な戦争でしたので、アメリカと英国は日本に罰する気持ちが有りました。

The truth is, Japan's fight in The Pacific War provided an inspiration for many colonized people to revolt.  Within a few decades after the war, all European countries had lost or given up their colonies.

真実は、太平洋戦争の日本の戦いは色々な植民地にされた人々に革命のインスピレーションに成りました。戦後の数１０年間ですべてのヨーロッパの国々が自分の植民地を失いました。

Except America, which has tried to take the role of colonial power.  That is what TPP is about, Domination of the world for American profit.

アメリカはその例外です。戦後で、アメリカは世界でその植民地保有国の役をするよう努力しています。TPPの意味は、アメリカが世界を支配すると言う意味です。理由は、ただアメリカの利益の為です。

But the A class Japanese defendants were tried for starting aggressive war.  Well, what about George Bush?  He had no reason to invade Iraq.  Iraq was no threat to America.

しかし、クラスAの被告は攻撃的な戦争を始める事で審理されました。それでは、アメリカのブッシュ大統領の場合はどうですか？イラクに侵入の理由が有りませんでした。イラクはアメリカにたいして危険性が有りませんでした。

America put extreme pressure on Japan to force Japan into war.  Japan had only two choices, fight, or face total national collapse.

大東亜戦争の前に、アメリカが日本に戦争を始める為に、厳しい圧力をかけました。日本の選択は、二つだけでした。戦うか、それとも完璧に崩壊するか。

America refused to negotiate to prevent war.  So I cannot see Tojo Hideki as a criminal in any way.

アメリカは戦争を止める為の交渉を拒否しました。それでは、私の意見で、東條英機氏は全然犯罪者では有りません。

Also, after the was in various trials in South East Asia, American and Great Britain tried and executed 1,100 Imperial Army and Navy personnel for water boarding Allied prisoners.

戦後、アメリカと英国は東南アジアで色々な裁判で１，１００人の帝国陸海軍員を裁判で連合軍捕虜にウォーターボーディングを行ったから審理と死刑しました。

The Bush administration approved water boarding if it is done by US personnel.  So will an American administration apologize for those post WWII executions?  I doubt so.

しかし、アメリカのブッシュ政権がアメリカ人がウォーターボーディングを他人に行う事を認めました。それでは、将来のアメリカ大統領政権が日本に謝罪しますか？しないでしょう。

The second vote was about Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  My vote was that America was guilty of a war crime.  The entire strategic bombing campaign against Japan angers me.  It's only purpose was to kill Japanese civilians.

番組の２番目の投票は、広島と長崎の原爆投下の事でした。私の投票は、アメリカが戦争犯罪で有罪でした。大東亜戦争のアメリカの戦略的な空襲作戦で怒っています。目標は、ただ普通の日本人を殺す事でした。

It had no military significance at all, and this was known at the time.  American submarines sunk so many Japanese merchant ships, 80%, that raw materials ceased to flow into Japan.  This destroyed Japanese industry, not bombing.

軍事的に意味が有りませんでした。アメリカのリーダー達は当時この事を分かりました。アメリカ海軍の潜水艦作戦で、日本の貨物船を８割沈没させました。資源が日本に入らない様に成りました。空襲では無く、この海軍作戦で日本の産業が崩壊されました。

This was well thought out and acted upon by America.  The architect of the bombing campaign, General Curtis Le May, is an American national shame.

これはアメリカの計画でした。その空襲作戦の計画者、カーチス・ルメイ将軍はアメリカの恥です。

Yet Americans still continue bombing.  As I write, there is a threat to bomb Syria.  It will have no military effect, but will kill a lot of people.

しかし、アメリカ人が現在でも空襲作戦を続けています。私はこの投稿を書きながら、シリアに空襲する脅かしが有ります。軍事的に影響は有りませんけれど、いっぱいの普通の人を殺します。

The Obama administration keeps up the drone bombing, 98% of the people they kill have nothing to do with guerrilla groups.

オバマ政権はブッシュ政権の無人飛行機空襲作戦を続けています。この作戦でアメリカが殺している人の中で、９８％はゲリラ集団に関係が有りません。

The other two votes were on the Senkaku islands and Takeshima.  Of course I voted that they are Japanese territory, there is indisputable proof of this.

アメリカ合衆国で従軍慰安婦記念碑が増えています。 Comfort Women memorials increase in the United States.

Now a Comfort Women memorial is being discussed for Buena Park California.  

現在、カリフォルニア州ブエナパーク市でもう一つの従軍慰安婦記念碑を造る話があります。

The Japanese government has decided that to take no action is the best course.  However, to Americans, this will seem like proof of Japanese guilt.

In my opinion, the next thing that Koreans will do is to sue Japanese corporations in America.  It has happened before.

私の考えで、在米韓国人の次の活動は、在米日本企業に裁判で告訴します。以前に、こう言う事がありました。

Koreans are suing Japanese Corporations operating in Korea.  They have been ordered to pay.  It may become impossible for Japanese corporations to operate in South Korea.

If Japanese firms pull out, Japan will suffer some, but Koreans will be hurt immensely.

Already, Korea is feeling the pinch as Japanese tourists avoid South Korea.

この色々な韓国人が作った問題で、日本人観光者は韓国へ行きません。韓国観光業界は苦しんでいます。

Koreans are being very stupid.  They are cutting their own throats for pride.

But our problems in America will only increase.  Koreans have decided to make the United States a battleground in their effort to attack Japan.

By erecting this statue, the City of Glendale is officially accusing Japan of crimes.

この記念碑を立てると、グレンデール市は公式的に日本に犯罪を告発しています。

The way to fight back is to sue the City of Glendale for defamation.  We should have them remove the statue and pay compensation to Japan.

反撃のし方は、グレンデール市に名誉毀損を裁判で告訴します。その記念碑を無くして、日本に損害賠償を払うべきです。

If we do nothing, Koreans will create much ill will and bad feelings against Japan in America.  This will in turn have a bad effect on trade and other relations with the United States.  Americans will think of Japan as a criminal nation.

日本は何もしないと、韓国人のアメリカの中での活動は、だんだんアメリカ人の心の中に日本が悪い国の気持ちを作ります。これで、日米関係はだんだん悪く成ります。アメリカ人は、日本が犯罪の国と思います。

It is time to act.

The Trayvon Martin case, where Trayvon Martin, a young Black man, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a self appointed neighborhood guard, has been reported in Japan.

トレイヴォン・マーティン事件、トレイヴォン・マーティンさん、若い黒人少年は、ジョージ・ジマーマンさん、近所の自警団から撃たれて殺されました。この事件は、日本のニュースで報道されました。

Many White Americans thought that with the election of President Obama, America had passed beyond it's racial problems.

オバマ大統領の当選で、数多くのアメリカの白人がアメリカの人種差別問題が終わったと思いました。

Except for a few areas in major cities, racial prejudice is still very strong in the United States.

しかし、真実は、大都市の数ヵ所以外、アメリカで民族差別は深いです。

There really seems to be no solution to the endless racial hatred in America.  I would like to say the US government should improve schools in Black neighborhoods.  They are simply awful.

Well, White schools in America are bad, the entire pre University education system in the US is in a shameful state.

However, the American Republican Party is again threatening to shut down the US government if President Obama does not give his health care plan.

グレンデール市は従軍慰安婦記念碑を設置する事に決めました。 Glendale California decides to erect Comfort Women monument.

Well Glendale California went ahead and did it.  They decided to establish a Comfort women memorial on public land.

グレンデール市は決定しました。公有地で従軍慰安婦記念碑を設置する事に決めました。

Frankly, they were very surprised by the Japanese protest reaction.  In fact, a comment by former mayor Frank Quintero shows that they are totally ignorant of Asian history and what they are doing.

はっきり言うと、彼達は日本人の抗議反動を驚きました。フランク・クィンテロ元市長のコメントで、アメリカ人は全然アジアの歴史に無知で、自分達の活動は日米関係にどう言う影響に成るのか知らないとの事、よく分かります。

Well Mr. Quintero, yes they did, they were sold by their fathers or other guardians.  This is how things were at the time.  Mr. Quintero is applying modern standards to try to understand the history of Asia 70 or more years ago, and that is a mistake.

クィンテロさん、正直に言うと、そう言う事は真実でした。自分の親とか保護者で売られました。残念ですけれど、当時はそう言う事が有りました。クィンテロさんは現在の社会基準で７０年以上前のアジア社会を理解しようとしている、それは間違いです。

In any case, it is very difficult for Americans to imagine any society different than their own.

とにかく、アメリカ人は自分達以外の現在の社会でも理解する事は難しいです。

However, what is unique is that not only are Japanese in Japan speaking up, but also Japanese Americans.

しかし、今回の珍しい事は、日本人だけが怒っている訳ではなく、在米の日系人が怒っています。

Americans seem to think that only conservatives in Japan are angry at the constant demand for war apologies.  A message to my American friends, no, it is all Japanese.  People here have had enough of foreign demands for apologies about the war.

Japanese people do not hold a grudge about the horrific bombings that America did, which had no military purpose.

Frankly, the Korean conduct is not that of a civilized nation.  Defacing the Japanese flag seems to have become the national pastime in Korea.

はっきりに言うと、韓国人の態度は文明人では有りません。日本国旗を汚す事は韓国人の国民的娯楽みたいです。

But is not only Japan that Koreans are angry at.

しかし、韓国人は日本国旗だけを汚している訳では有りません。

There are of course anti American protests in Japan.  There are problems with US bases, with the TPP trade pact.  But I have never heard of an instance where Japanese protesters did such a terrible thing to the American flag.

勿論、日本でアメリカに対して抗議が有ります。米軍基地問題、TPP反対の抗議が有ります。しかし、日本の抗議でこう言うアメリカ国旗に失礼な事が有った事を、私は聞いた事が有りません。

There seems to be an increase of wild Korean claims of dominating Asia in past times on the net.

ネットで、韓国人の”昔にアジア支配をした”と言う話が増えているみたいです。

It would be funny, except that Koreans are trying to enact punitive policies against Japan.  No, it is not at all a joke. 

こう言う事は冗談と思うかも知れないが、韓国人は日本に懲罰的な政策を行なっているから、冗談では有りません。

Forty years ago, when I lived in Korea, they were not this arrogant.  They did not engage in all this flag desecration.  This is a new phenomena, it has developed in recent years.  But it proves that Korean people really can only think of themselves.  They simply do not understand what it is to be a member of the world community.

４０年前に私は韓国に住みました。現在の韓国人みたいな傲慢的では有りませんでした。この傲慢さは新しいです。しかし、これは、韓国人は自分達しか考えられない証拠です。世界の国々の中に一つの国の存在を理解出来ません。

And to my American friends, again I will say, be careful with these Koreans.  They believe they are the greatest civilization to have ever existed in the world.  One day, they will attack you too.
