アメリカ閉鎖！ America shuts down!

Well, the Tea Party and Christian Fundamentalists have finally gotten their wish.  They have shut America down.  And the Congress was drunk while they did it.

アメリカ茶会と原理主義キリスト教が、自分達の希望をかなえました。アメリカを閉鎖しました。それで、その活動をしながら、国会議員達は酔っ払いでした。

So what will happen?  Well as a first thing, out of 2.1 million Federal employees, 800,000 will be furloughed.

The government says that essential services such as Air Traffic Control will continue, and the military will be paid.

What is the Christian Fundamentalist movement?  Basically, they want to make their own type of Christianity dominant in America, and then the world.

原理主義キリスト教は何ですか？基本的に、自分達のキリスト教宗派をアメリカで一番強い宗教団体にしたい、それで世界を支配したいです。

For example, one of their goals is to require every military officer, every government official, politician, Corporate President and school teacher, to be a Christian Fundamentalist.

たとえば、一つの目標は、アメリカですべての軍士官、官僚、政治家、企業の社長、学校の先生が、原理主義キリスト教信者のみのアメリカに創りたいです。

And if you are not a member of their religion, you will not be allowed to vote.

その宗派の信者でないと、選挙の投票権利も失います。

They did not win the election in 2012, but they came close to taking the Republican nomination.

２０１２年の選挙で、共和党指名を採りそうでした。

Is the American Right really so upset about Obamacare?  Yes.  First of all, Obamacare is very complex, nowhere close to Japan's National Health care.

アメリカの右派は、本当にオバマケアについてそんなに怒っていますか？そうです。オバマケアはとても複雑で、日本の国民健康保険と違います。

What those Americans worry about is that somebody might benefit.  They do not want to pay tax money to help other people.  But of course if they personally are trouble, they want help.

そのアメリカ人の心配は、誰かが得をするかも知れません。自分の税金で他人をヘルプしたくないです。しかし、勿論、自分が困る時は、誰か、どこかからヘルプしてほしいです。

This is a very bad part of American society, especially the Right wing.  It is simply selfishness.

これは、アメリカ社会、特に、右派の悪い所です。只の欲張りです。

A few months ago, the Bangladeshi father of a young TV talent in Japan was found to have cheated on Japanese National Health Insurance.

数ヵ月前に、日本のテレビタレントの若い女性のバングラデシュ人のお父さんが、日本の国民健康保険を詐欺した事が分かりました。

Yet no person in Japan says that National Health Insurance should be abolished.

しかし、それで、日本の国民健康保険を辞めましょう！の声が有りません。

So what will happen to America now?  Well, the American descent in chaos has been greatly accelerated.  I think it would be good time to sell any US Treasury Bonds that you might be holding.

それで、これよりアメリカがどう成るですか？まあ、アメリカの混乱への降下がもっと早く成ります。もし、私の読者がアメリカの国債を持っている場合、今すぐ売った方がいいです。

And forget TPP, America won't be stable enough to participate.

TPPも忘れた方がいい、参加するのにアメリカが不安定過ぎです。
